Then one flat monthly plan: $59/mo Hosting & Care, $299/mo Hosting + SEO, or $388/mo with the AI front desk. That works out to $1,207 all-in for year one on Hosting & Care, or $4,087 with SEO. The written, fixed quote depends on the size and complexity of the site and is confirmed before anything starts. Most Canadian agencies price this on request, so treat any figure you are given elsewhere as a range until it is in writing.
Are your prices in Canadian dollars?
Yes. Every figure we publish and every invoice we send is CAD. It is worth asking anyone you are comparing us to, because a USD price quietly becomes a larger number by the time it reaches a Canadian bank account.
Can you build my site if I am not in Ottawa?
Yes, and it changes nothing about the process. We are one studio in Ottawa and we work with clients across Canada remotely - scoping calls, screen shares, a written spec, and a site you review in your browser. What we will not do is imply we have an office near you. There is one team, it is in Ottawa, and if your project genuinely needs someone in the room we are the wrong fit and will tell you so on the first call.
Do you do web development, or only design?
Both, by the same people. Every site is hand-coded in Next.js and React - real web development, not a page builder - so design and build are one job rather than two vendors and a handoff. If you already have a brand or a design you like, we can build against it instead of starting the look from scratch.
Does it actually matter that you are a Canadian company?
For some things, yes, and for others no. It matters for currency, for working hours, and for the fact that PIPEDA is the privacy law we operate under rather than one we read about. It does not mean your data is stored in Canada - our privacy policy says plainly that the personal information of Canadian users is stored and processed in the United States by our sub-processors, and you should know that before you ask us rather than after. It also does not make the code better. Judge the work, the price and the written spec - the passport is a convenience, not a credential.
Can you do SEO on the website I already have?
Yes. The $299/mo Hosting + SEO plan covers both the hosting and the SEO work, and it works on the site you already have as well as on one we build - hosting is inside that number, not billed on top of it. Bring your current site to the scoping call and we will tell you honestly whether it can carry the work as it stands.
Will my site rank on Google?
We will not promise you a position, and anyone who does is guessing - ranking depends on your market, your competition, and how long the site has been live, none of which an agency controls. What we control we do properly: technical health, page structure, structured data, and content aimed at what your customers actually type. We also build for AI search, which increasingly answers the question before anyone clicks.
What happens to my existing website?
We keep whatever is working - your content, your rankings, your existing URLs - and redirect anything that moves so you do not lose search visibility on launch day. A redesign that quietly drops half your pages is the most common way a site loses traffic. We can also take over a site another developer built, provided you can give us access to the domain and the code.
