WordPress maintenance and support, on whatever your site actually runs on.

Updates, backups, SSL, monitoring and security, on a published price. WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, or a hand-coded site whose developer stopped replying.

From $59 CAD/mo, hosting included. Month-to-month, and no SLA we have not agreed.

What a maintenance plan is for

Maintenance keeps your site alive. It does not bring you customers.

Most pages on this search will not write that sentence. Here is the split, so you can decide whether this is the thing your business actually needs.

What maintenance genuinely does

  • Stops a plugin update taking the site down on a Friday afternoon
  • Stops an expired certificate throwing a browser warning at every visitor
  • Stops a known vulnerability sitting unpatched for months
  • Keeps the site fast enough that people do not leave before it loads
  • Means one person is accountable when something breaks
  • Keeps your content current without you filing a ticket and waiting

What it does not do

  • Rank you on Google. That is the $299 plan, and it takes months
  • Fill your calendar or make your phone ring
  • Rewrite a site that was built wrong in the first place
  • Answer your phone. That is the AI agents plan
  • Undo a compromise that already happened before we had access
  • Make a slow platform fast if the platform is the problem

If maintenance is not what is holding your business back, we would rather tell you that on the scoping call than sell you a plan you do not need.

Included every month

The floor, and we are not going to pretend ours is exotic.

Every serious plan on this search covers roughly this list. The difference is what happens when something is not on it, and whether the price was published before you asked.

  • WordPress core, theme and plugin updates
  • Automated backups, with a restore that has actually been tested
  • SSL certificates renewed before they expire, not after
  • Uptime monitoring
  • Security patching and malware scanning
  • Up to 2 content edit requests a month
  • Priority support from the people who did the work
Platforms

We are not a WordPress shop, which is the point.

Almost every maintenance plan on this search is WordPress-only. Ours is not, because the sites we already look after are not. A WordPress front end with a Shopify buy button is the kind of thing that gets quoted as a rebuild by people who only work in one stack.

WordPress

Core, theme and plugin updates, staging where the site warrants it, and the plugin conflicts that only show up after an update.

Shopify

Theme updates, app conflicts, checkout and product page changes, and the speed work a store loses money to.

Squarespace and Wix

Content edits, SEO settings, and an honest answer about what the platform will and will not let anyone do.

Hand-coded and static

Next.js, plain HTML, Netlify or Vercel builds. Including the ones whose original developer has stopped replying.

Pricing

Published, because half this market is quote-only.

One flat monthly figure with hosting inside it, not billed on top. Every project starts with a free scoping call and a written, fixed quote.

Hosting & Care

$59/mo

Managed hosting, SSL, backups, monitoring, updates, up to 2 content edits a month, priority support.

The maintenance plan.

Hosting + SEO

$299/mo

Everything above, plus on-page and technical SEO, Google Business Profile management, local and Maps visibility, and a monthly ranking report.

The plan that works on getting found.

Hosting + SEO + AI Agents

$388/mo

Everything above, plus the AI front desk on your site: chatbot, smart forms, automatic booking, missed-call text-back and review follow-up.

Voice AI receptionist is a +$199/mo add-on.

Prices in CAD. Full detail, including what sits in each plan side by side, is on our pricing page. If you want the site to rank as well as run, that is the SEO plan, and if you need the site rebuilt rather than maintained, start at websites and SEO. Running a store rather than a site? Shopify store management is the same plans, and it charges for less, because Shopify already covers the hosting and SSL half of this page.

How it starts

Four steps, and the first one can end in a no.

01

Free scoping call

What the site runs on, who built it, what breaks, and who holds the logins. If the honest answer is that you do not need us, that is the answer you get.

02

Written, fixed quote

Before anything begins. No hourly creep, and no discovering the price after the work.

03

Handover and audit

What is out of date, what is insecure, and what is quietly broken, written down. Month one needs something to be measured against.

04

Then every month

Updates, backups, monitoring and your edits, and a note saying what actually happened. Month-to-month, so the note has to earn the next one.

Questions

The ones people actually ask.

How much does it cost to pay someone to maintain a website?

Ours is published rather than quote-only: from $59 CAD a month for Hosting & Care, which covers managed hosting, SSL, backups, monitoring, updates, up to 2 content edits a month and priority support. Adding SEO makes it $299, and adding the AI front desk makes it $388. For context, plans on this search commonly run $39 to $50 for a simple site and $149 to $300 or more for a store, so we sit inside the normal range rather than under it. Every project starts with a free scoping call and a written, fixed quote.

Do you only maintain WordPress?

No. WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, and hand-coded or static sites. We look after a WordPress site and a hand-built static site alongside our own Next.js builds, so a mixed stack is routine here rather than an exception. That matters more than it sounds: most maintenance plans on this search are WordPress-only, and a WordPress front end with a Shopify buy button tends to get quoted as a rebuild by people who work in one stack.

Can you maintain a site you did not build?

Yes, and most of the sites we look after are exactly that. Bring it to the free scoping call. We will tell you honestly whether it can carry the work as it stands, and if the answer is that it cannot, you get that in writing before you pay for anything rather than as a surprise three months in.

What happens if my site gets hacked?

Patching, scanning and backups make it less likely, and a tested restore is what makes it survivable rather than catastrophic. What we will not tell you is that a maintenance plan prevents a compromise outright. No plan on this search does, including the ones whose pages imply it, and a vulnerability disclosed and exploited on the same day beats any update schedule. What you get from us is that it is found quickly, restored from a backup that works, and explained to you afterwards.

Is maintenance going to bring me more customers?

No, and that is worth saying plainly because most pages on this search will not. Updates, backups and uptime protect what you already have. They do not create demand. If the phone is not ringing, a maintenance plan will not change that, and anybody selling it to you as growth is selling you the wrong product. The plan that works on getting found is $299 a month and it takes months, not weeks. If maintenance is not what is holding your business back, we would rather say so on the call.

Do I have to change how my site is hosted?

That gets settled on the scoping call and written into the fixed quote before anything moves, because the honest answer depends on what your site runs on. Some sites are better left where they are and maintained in place. Some are worth moving. What we will not do is move your hosting as a condition of talking to us, or bill you for hosting twice.

Send us the site. We will tell you what it needs.

Including when the answer is that it does not need us. Free scoping call, written fixed quote, and no obligation attached to either.

Ana, our AI receptionist, answers the phone 24/7.
